Hi, I'm Lewis, and, under the guise of @Leofric.Designs , I enjoy sharing my adventure into ancient cultures and historic re-enactment.

Mead is known throughout the ages as a drink that binds societies in celebration, commemoration, and mourning. Mead is intrinsically entwined within the history of the British Isles – and that is why I love it.

Through my journey into historical re-enactment, I found that mead is indeed more than just a drink. It embodies the crackle of an evening fire, the low chuckle of close friends, and the flush of daily stresses leaving your body. Undoubtedly, my appreciation of good mead was spurred by my interest in history, but solidified through its ability to bring people together, break down barriers and bind people to a care-free moment in time; no matter what period you live in.
