By Car:

Public Transport:
From the North and Midlands: Train to Aberystwyth Railway Station. From the bus station take the T5 TrawsCymru to The Cross Inn Post Office. 32min (1.5miles) walk to Afon Mel Honey Farm and Meadery.
From the South: Train to Carmarthen Railway Station. From the bus station take the T1 TrawsCymru to The Cross Inn Post Office. 32min (1.5miles) walk to Afon Mel Honey Farm and Meadery.
Is camping included in my ticket?
All weekend tickets include camping. We have a field with ample camping space (parking close by) and is included in the price of your ticket.
Day ticket holders are allowed access from 10am till midnight, no camping included
Can I buy a day ticket?
We prefer to include everyone for the whole weekend. However if we have space we will release day tickets nearer to the time.
When does the campsite open and when does it close?
The campsite is open for weekend attendees from 3pm Friday, there is no access to the main festival field until 3pm Friday.
The campsite will close to attendees 10am Monday.
Can I bring my Campervan, Motorhome or Caravan?
There are no hard standing pitches for caravans or campervans vehicles. Please be confident that your vehicle is suitable for field camping. Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Will there be parking onsite?
Yes. We have free parking fields. With disabled parking given the priority closest to the gates.
I have a day ticket, can I stay on the campsite or sleep in my car?
The campsite is only for weekend guests. Day visitors are asked to leave by midnight. You are also not permitted to sleep in your car in the car park for insurance and safety reasons, so please make alternative arrangements.
I have a day ticket. Can I upgrade to a weekend ticket?
Absolutely! email us your order number to celtfest@afonmel.com and we will upgrade your ticket, all you have to do is pay the difference.
Is there running water onsite or electricity for campers?
There is no running water onsite however, there will be fresh water available in water silos around site. There are no electric hook up points or plugs for campers so please make alternative arrangements.
Can I cook in the campsite or have a fire pit?
You are welcome to cook or BBQ at your tent, only when raised 12–18 inches (30–45cm) above ground level on a stable, non‑combustible base. There will be communal firepits for all to use. Fire wardens will be patrolling to enforce this and keep everyone safe. For more information on Fire, BBQ and stove safety please see our Terms and Conditions.
Can I bring my dog?
We’re sorry, animals are not permitted on the festival or campsite.
Assistance dogs are permitted where required by law and must be identifiable and under control at all times. They must be kept on a short lead at all times. Please think carefully and be sure your pet will not be distressed by loud music or sounds, fires or small children. You must clean up after your animal and deposit waste into the bins provided. Please keep our spaces clean for all to enjoy.
Can I bring my weapons to the festival?
No, weapons are not allowed. If you purchase or acquire anything that could be considered a weapon, please return it to your car and keep it locked until you leave the site.
Is the site suitable for a wheelchair or pushchair?
CeltFest is held at a rural, open-field site with uneven and potentially muddy ground, which may limit access for some attendees. We aim to make the Event as accessible as reasonably possible. We have designated disabled parking, toilets and disabled camping area that has easier access. I can no longer attend; can I get a refund?
All tickets are non-refundable. All monies received are immediately invested into the event. If the festival completely sells out, and we can resell your ticket you could receive a refund. Please email us if this is the case. celtfest@afonmel.com
Can I sell my ticket or buy tickets to resell?
Tickets are linked to your name, you will need to show your order number and name upon arrival to receive your wristband. We do not allow reselling of tickets to anyone.
Is there electric at the pitches? Can I charge my phone etc on site?
No, sorry there are no electric hook up points at the festival and nowhere to charge your phone or device. It is a good idea to plan ahead and bring power packs or solar chargers with you.
Can I drive to the campsite and unload my gear?
No, sorry. You will need to park at the car park and carry your gear the short distance to the campsite area after collecting your wristband.
Are there showers on site?
Sorry, there is no running water for showers. There are water silos in the festival campsite so you can still have a good wash. There are also toilets in the campsite including disabled and baby change.
Can I camp Sunday evening?
Yes, if you have the full weekend ticket, the campsite is open until 10am Monday.
Do you send tickets to me?
No, all you need is confirmation number. Simply provide your order number and name to the ticket tent upon arrival, and you will be given wristbands.
Is this a family friendly festival?
Kids of all ages are welcome. However, this festival is aimed at adults. There will be a lot of drinking onsite and late-night storytelling may only be suitable for those aged 16 and over. If you want a good night's sleep, we suggest camping away from the communal areas.
What's the feast all about, how much is it?
Our hearty feast featuring a traditional hog roast, served with a selection of fresh seasonal vegetables. Accompanied by refreshing session mead (18+). Please bring ID if you are or appear under 25 years.

Is a scheme that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID when they want to buy alcohol. For more information about Challenge 25.
Session mead is an alcoholic drink, in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), 16 or 17 year olds can legally consume beer, wine, or cider with a table meal in licensed premises, provided they are accompanied by an adult, the alcohol is purchased by the adult, and it is not a spirit. (Please bring ID) It is illegal for anyone under 18 to buy alcohol, and for anyone to purchase alcohol for a minor.
Tickets are available for the feast on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Day visitors can also upgrade to the feast if there is space. You can purchase upgrades in the online shop and you can find out more about the feast by clicking here.
