Of course, my passion for these things encompasses a love for the drink of the ancients - MEAD! 

For me sitting by the fire or out in nature sipping something similar to what my ancestors would have drunk a thousand years ago and more forms a bond across time. But it's not about recreating the past. Much like the God posts, I create it's about giving something very old a new breath of life and a place in the modern world. 

Now is such an exciting time for mead - it's great to see something so wonderful from the mists of our past coming back into more popular usage and being enjoyed in new and inventive ways.
