- Mead Negroni -

Here's the recipe:

30ml Dry Gin
30ml Honey mead
30ml Bitter amaro of choice
2 Dashes Aromatic bitters

1. Place a rocks glass in the freezer
2. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass
3. Fill with ice
4. Stir for about 30 seconds
5. Remove rocks glass from freezer and add a large ice cube
6. Strain over the cocktail
7. Cut some lemon peel and express the oils over the drink by twisting it
8. Place in glass and enjoy

I'd encourage you to spend some time finding your favourite bitter amaro. There is a world of options out there, and just like how not everyone loves the same foods, the same applies to amari. Don't be limited to thinking you dislike amari if you dislike campari. Start with something less bitter (e.g. aperol or amaro santoni and work from there)
